Is surfing harder for girls or harder if you start later?

I’m going to a camp in Costa Rica. There we will learn how to surf. what is the chance of my survival in class. We only have 3 days of surfing lessons. to what point of expertise should i be at by the end of the 3 days. for beginners: does it kill your muscles, do you need a lot of muscles, really strong?

Is an inflatable kayak good for surfing or should I look for a sit on top?

I want to start kayak surfing but I am not too sure what type of boat I want. I have read that inflatables are good (and cheaper) but I don’t want to get something that might not work as well just to save a few bucks. Any suggestions?

How to use surfing in a final paper for my psychology class?

I need to write a paper for my psych class, and I’d like to relate it to surfing somehow. I can be about virtually anything. Culture of surfing? But there’s so much diversity. I don’t know. I just wanted to see if anyone else passionate about surfing could come up with something.

Surfing……?

Hi, I am going to take 1-2 months off work this fall, and I want to spend the entire time surfing. I have never surfed before but I know I will love it and become instantly addicted. Does anyone know of some surf camp, or some sort of program where i could do this type of thing? I just want to shred waves.
